Affixes
Affixes are word parts (prefixes and suffixes), added at the beginning or end of other words to form a new word, or change the meaning of that word.
Prefix - A prefix is a letter or word added at the beginning of a word to make a new word or change the meaning of that word. Examples include: un+happy = unhappy; pre+view = preview; inter+national = international, and so on.
